The Metal Museum offers various education programs ranging from public demonstrations to middle and high school programs to blacksmithing and casting. Metalsmithing and foundry classes are taught on site. Classes start at beginner levels and go to advanced specialized sessions. We also offers acid/copper etching, silver bracelet fabrication and aluminum casting for children.
Students must be at least 18 years old and will be required to sign a waiver the first day of class. There are no refunds. If for any reason a class becomes overbooked or is full, your credit card will not be charged and you will be notified that you are being placed on an alternate list. All students will need to provide their own ear and eye protection as well as gloves. All other materials are included in the tuition.
Members who are Supporting Friends or above receive 10% off class tuition. Members please indicate that you are member in the notes section of your order or call the Museum at 901-774-6380 to register to receive your discount on tuition.
