Course Description

Have you ever seen a pile of old metal and wanted to make it into something wild and funky? Here’s your chance. Students will learn how to prepare, bend, cut and weld scrap metal into something for the garden or patio. Instructors will not only teach the fundamentals of welding, but also encourage and nurture students’ creativity. Each student will leave with a completed work of art to be admired and treasured for years to come.  This is an enjoyable hands-on class designed especially for the metals novice, no previous experience necessary. Students may bring a small amount of their own ferrous metal scrap.
