WELCOME TO THE METAL MUSEUM
As the only institution of its kind in North America, and one of only a few in the world devoted exclusively to metalwork, the Metal Museum leads the way in the celebration, recognition, and promotion of the field of fine metalwork. With 3.2 acres of land, rotating exhibitions, a permanent collection, sculpture garden, and a Blacksmith Shop and Foundry, the Metal Museum is one of the most unique things to do in Memphis.

Take a Tour
Our Gold Tours offer visitors a one-of-a-kind Museum experience. For small groups of 2-6 people, you can schedule a 20-minute guided tour led by our knowledgable staff. Learn about the history of the Metal Museum, artwork in the Sculpture Garden, and special programs available throughout the year. Each tour concludes with a group activity where you'll create your own work of art.
