The Metal Museum offers a roster of short and affordable classes called Make Your Own. Join us on the last Saturday of each month to learn quick and simple introductory techniques that require minimal tools and equipment. The projects are designed for people of all ages.

Make Your Own: Art Tile

SATURDAY, NOV. 30, 10AM - 3PM

Drop in anytime between 10am and 3pm to make your own art tile. Carve your design into a 4” x 4” square mold and our Foundry crew will cast it in aluminum for you!

Member pricing does not apply. Sales end at 2pm. This is an outdoor event and will be available while supplies last.


$20 per project | Ages 15 and up (Ages 10-15 may attend, but must have an adult registered with them)

Make Your Own: Wire Rings

SATURDAY, DEC. 28, 10AM - 12PM, 2:30 - 4:30PM

Make unique rings out of wire using pliers and a ring mandrel. You will learn how to incorporate the techniques of wire wrapping, beading, and forging into the designs.


$10 per project | Ages 15 and up (Ages 10-15 may attend, but must have an adult registered with them)

REGISTRATION

Enroll online or simply call (901) 774-6380 to sign up! Attendees should be 18 years of age to register independently. All materials are included in the tuition. Members receive first project free and must call the Museum to reserve a seat in the hands-on activity.
