The “Super Spike” process was developed by Jeannie Tomlinson Saltmarsh during her artist in residency here at the metal museum. This fun, “in the moment” casting process involves poking holes in a mold and then filling them with molten aluminum. The best part is seeing how far the aluminum flowed when we open the molds! Each participant will create a unique work or art to display on their wall. Artistry is not required, just courage to do the work.
