Lingua Nigra: I Can See the Light, Beetle Wing Earrings
Hand carved wings in wax, then cast them in brass to create a fun play on man made versus nature. The metal wings are plated with 22kt gold, whereas the beetle wings are only trimmed and pierced, nothing more. This all hangs from a reticulated disc post earring, for ease of wear. Truly a dramatic and breathtaking piece to own and wear.
Measures approx. 3" long from top to bottom
Brass casting, 22kt gold plate, plated sterling post
Not recommended for ears not used to heavy jewelry
Made with love in the USA
