EDUCATION VOLUNTEER

MAKE YOUR OWN

Hands-on activities are generally simple and appropriate for any age. Opportunities to volunteer include off site with the M4 (Mobile Mini Metal Museum) at craft fairs and other outings around town, at the museum grounds during tours, scheduled hands-on activities, last Saturday of the month, and during Family Fun Days.

*Training on hands-on activities will be offered.

METAL MUSEUM YOUTH INITIATIVE

Through the Metal Museum Youth Initiative we are working to introduce a new generation to metalworking in order to help create interest and appreciation and help preserve and promote the craft.  We currently have two ongoing programs, the Soulsville Metals Collaborative and Cu in Summer, which are partner programs with the community organization Knowledge Quest.

To register for a volunteer opportunity please email Lori Gipson at lori@metalmuseum.org with the date and volunteer opportunity in the subject line.
