MASTER METALSMITH: KIM CRIDLER | HELD

OCT. 3, 2021 - MAR. 6, 2022

The 2021 honoree for the Metal Museum’s annual Master Metalsmith exhibition is Kim Cridler. Kim's extensive studio practice focuses on the fabrication of sculptural forms in metal with materials evocative of the natural world.

A sculptural wall piece with cut pennies in a round frame. The pennies are cut out so that it appears that Abraham Lincoln has small wings. They are arranged in a symmetrical pattern.
