Tours can be scheduled Tuesdays through Saturdays from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm and must be scheduled a minimum of five days in advance.
GOLD TOURS
These tours are for small groups of up to 6 people and include a guided 20-minute walkthrough of the Sculpture Garden with discussions about the Museum's history and artworks on display. Each tour is followed by a hands-on activity.
22Karat Tour
22Karat Tours include a walkthrough of the buildings and sculpture garden while learning about the history of the Metal Museum and the artwork currently on display. After your tour, you will have an hour to participate in an activity of your choosing: Copper Rose or Embossed Tile.

24Karat Tour
24Karat Tours include a walkthrough of the buildings and sculpture garden while learning about the history of the Metal Museum and the artwork currently on display. For the hands-on activity, participants will be able to design their own aluminum art tile which will be cast on-site. Guests will have the option to pick up their tiles that day or have them shipped for an additional fee.
$60 per person | Approx. 2 hours | Minimum 5 people

SCHOOL & GROUP TOURS
MSCS Discovering Memphis Initiative
This tour is only for MSCS Discovering Memphis Initiative K-12 schools. The 1-hour field trip to the Metal Museum will consist of a 20-minute tour of our current exhibitions, a 20-minute tour of our smithy and foundry, and a 20-minute hands-on activity that consists of making a twisted wire ring.

General School
Tour
Guided tours and hands-on activities are available for school groups of 10 or more students on Tuesdays through Fridays from 10:00AM to 3:00PM. Groups larger than 20 will be divided and may be asked to come on separate days. All guided tours must be scheduled a minimum of two weeks in advance. The total length of a tour and hands-on activity is 1 hour. A tour, activity, and metalworking demonstration lasts 1.5 hours.
AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE TOUR
This tour is for visitors who are Deaf or hard of hearing. This two-hour tour discusses the art and history of the Metal Museum and includes the current exhibitions and sculpture garden. The tour is conducted in ASL only; no voice interpretation is provided. This tour does not include an activity.
