This month’s “Whet Thursday” featuring ballroom dancing lessons, is a unique and captivating evening that blends metal, music and movement in an inspiring setting. Set against the backdrop of the museum’s stunning collection of metal art and sculptures, this event offers guests the chance to explore the elegance and tradition of ballroom dance in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Taught by Cat’s Ballroom Dancing, instructors will guide participants through basic steps and techniques. Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience, the lessons are designed to help you feel comfortable and confident on the dance floor.

Located on the scenic bluff, this event is the perfect way to kick off your weekend with a mix of stunning views and high-energy karaoke. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or a first-time singer, the mic is open to all. Enjoy delicious drinks, great company, and an atmosphere that encourages everyone to belt out their favorite songs! Come and join us for a vibrant evening celebrating the heart and soul of Memphis with a unique blend of local art, music, and food at the Metal Museum. On this special Whet Thursday, the museum will host a themed event inspired by the spirit of 901, the area code that unites the city of Memphis. The evening will feature live performances from Corey Lou & Da Village adding to the event’s energetic and authentic Memphis vibe. These performances will honor the city’s musical roots while highlighting contemporary talent. Savor the tastes of Memphis with BBQ offerings from Hog Wild.
