WHET THURSDAY

Whet Thursday is a free, public after-hours event held at the Metal Museum on the first Thursday of the month, April through June. Enjoy games on the lawn, food truck fare, lively music, metalsmithing demos, and a gallery talk at 6pm. Be sure to grab a drink and enjoy the sunset from the best view along the Mississippi River!

APRIL 4 | Kickoff Party

Kick off this year's Whet Thursday series with us! Enjoy music, drinks, and get a sneak peek at the collaborative piece being made during Forging on the River!

Stickem food truck will be onsite.

MAY 2 | Soulsville Showcase

In May, we'll showcase and celebrate work made by high school students in the Soulsville Metals Collaborative. Handmade jewelry and artwork will be for sale to support this ongoing program. Food Truck:  El Mero Taco

JUNE 6 | Pop-up Artist Market w/ The Artist Commons

Mingle with local artists and creatives from The Artist Commons! Enjoy music, drinks, and metalworking fun before browsing their pop-up show and art sale overlooking the bluff.

ADMISSION: Free, all ages

PARKING: Free street parking is available along Metal Museum Drive

 

ALCOHOL: Wine and beer will be served. Valid ID is required.

RAIN: If it is raining, most activities will be moved to the big white tent on the bluff. Check the weather and our social media for any updates.
