METAL MUSEUM AT OVERTON PARK

*There is limited parking available throughout Overton Park. Please follow all posted signs and park only in designated spaces. Parking may be limited during events and peak visitation.

FROM DOWNTOWN MEMPHIS

Take Poplar Avenue east through Midtown and into Overton Park. Follow signs for the Metal Museum at 1930 Poplar Ave.

FROM NORTH MEMPHIS

Take I-40 East toward Downtown Memphis. Take Exit 1B for US-51/Danny Thomas Blvd. Continue to Poplar Avenue and turn left. Continue east on Poplar Avenue into Overton Park. The Metal Museum is at 1930 Poplar Ave.

FROM EAST MEMPHIS

From I-40 West, continue on I-40 West as it becomes Sam Cooper Blvd. Take Sam Cooper Blvd to East Parkway and turn left. Turn right onto Poplar Avenue and continue west into Overton Park. The Metal Museum is at 1930 Poplar Ave.

FROM SOUTH MEMPHIS

From I-240 North, take I-240 North to Union Avenue. Exit onto Union Avenue and continue east. Turn left onto Tucker Street and follow Tucker Street into Overton Park. The Metal Museum is at 1930 Poplar Ave.

BY BUS

MATA Route 50 (Poplar) serves Overton Park, with service between Downtown Memphis and East Memphis. Visit MATA to check current schedules, stops, and service alerts before your visit.

BY BIKE

The Metal Museum is accessible by bike through Overton Park and the surrounding bike network. Bike and pedestrian connections link the park to surrounding Midtown neighborhoods and the Hampline and Shelby Farms Greenline.

ON FOOT

The Metal Museum is accessible from Overton Park's sidewalks and pedestrian paths. A sidewalk along Poplar Avenue connects the Tucker Street and Veterans Plaza Drive entrances, providing pedestrian access along the park's south side.

FROM MEMPHIS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Take I-240 West toward Midtown. Exit onto Union Avenue and continue east. Turn left onto Tucker Street and follow Tucker Street into Overton Park. The Metal Museum is at 1930 Poplar Ave.

FROM ARKANSAS

From I-55 North, after crossing the Mississippi River into Tennessee, follow I-55 North toward Downtown Memphis. Take I-240 North toward Midtown, then exit onto Union Avenue. Continue east on Union Avenue and turn left onto Tucker Street. Follow Tucker Street into Overton Park. The Metal Museum is at 1930 Poplar Ave.

From I-40 East, after crossing the Mississippi River into Tennessee, take the exit for Front Street. Turn left onto Poplar Avenue and continue east toward Overton Park. Turn left onto Tucker Street and follow Tucker Street into the park. The Metal Museum is at 1930 Poplar Ave.

GROUPS

Groups arriving by bus or other large vehicles should contact the Museum in advance for drop-off and parking information.
