Directions to the Museum
GETTING TO THE METAL MUSEUM
There is currently construction happening around the area due to works on the I-55, and on Riverside Drive. There are diversions posted but using Google Maps will bring you directly to the Metal Museum.
FROM DOWNTOWN MEMPHIS
Head south on South Main Street, then turn right onto E.H. Crump Blvd. Continue straight on E.H. Crump Blvd and enter the roundabout, taking the third exit onto W. Alston Ave. Continue on W. Alston Ave until you see the Downtown Inn & Studio Suites, then turn left onto Metal Museum Dr and follow the road as it curves to the right. The Metal Museum will be on your right. ​

FROM EAST MEMPHIS
From I-40 West,
Take Exit 1C for Danny Thomas Blvd and turn right onto E.H. Crump Blvd. Continue straight and enter the roundabout, taking the third exit onto W. Alston Ave. Continue on W. Alston Ave until you see the Downtown Inn & Studio Suites, then turn left onto Metal Museum Dr. and follow the road as it curves to the right. The Metal Museum will be on your right.

FROM I-240 WEST AND I-55 NORTH
Follow I-55 North and take Exit 11 - W McLemore Avenue/President’s Island. Turn left onto W McLemore Ave. From W McLemore Ave, follow the road to the right onto Riverside Blvd. Cross the railroad tracks and at the top of the hill, turn left onto Metal Museum Drive. The Metal Museum is on the left.
​FROM ARKANSAS
From I-55 South,
After crossing the bridge into Tennessee, continue on I-55 S and take the exit for W. Alston Ave, keeping right. Continue on W. Alston until you see the Downtown Inn & Studio Suites, then turn left onto Metal Museum Dr. and follow the road as it curves to the right. The Metal Museum will be on your right.

From I-40 East,
After crossing the bridge into Tennessee, take Exit 1B for US-51 / Danny Thomas Blvd S. Turn right onto E.H. Crump Blvd. Continue straight and enter the roundabout, taking the third exit onto W. Alston Ave. Continue on W. Alston until you see the Downtown Inn & Studio Suites, then turn left onto Metal Museum Dr. and follow the road as it curves to the right. The Metal Museum will be on your right.
LEAVING THE METAL MUSEUM
TO DOWNTOWN MEMPHIS/MIDTOWN
Head east on Metal Museum Drive towards W Illinois Ave passing the Downtown Inn & Studio Suites on your left, then turn right onto W. Alston Ave. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto W E.H. Crump Blvd toward Midtown/Downtown.
TO I-55 NORTH
Head east on Metal Museum Drive towards W Illinois Ave passing the Downtown Inn & Studio Suites on your left, then turn right onto W. Alston Ave. At the roundabout, take the fourth exit onto the I-55 N ramp, crossing over the bridge into Arkansas.
TO I-55 SOUTH
Head west on Metal Museum Drive towards the Mississippi River. Follow the road as it curves left around Chickasaw Heritage Park. At the three-way intersection, turn right onto Riverside Blvd and follow the road down the hill. Go straight across the railroad tracks. Turn left onto W McLemore Ave and then right onto I-55 South.
