WHAT IS PLANNED GIVING?

Planned Giving is a way for you to support the Metal Museum through your will, trust, or other estate plans. These gifts honor your values, establish a lasting legacy, and offer tax advantages for you and your heirs while sustaining the Museum's future.​

 

Gift options include:

  • Bequests – Estate percentage/amount 

  • Retirement Accounts – IRA/401(k) beneficiary 

  • Life Insurance – Donate policy 

  • Charitable Trusts – Remainder trust 

  • Real Estate/Stock – Donate assets

HOW TO GIVE

Support exhibitions, education, conservation, or general operations. You can also give to or create an endowment.

Steps to Give: 

  1. Speak with your financial or legal advisor 

  2. Choose your planned gift type 

  3. Include this info in your estate plan:

  4. Let us know so we can honor your wishes

​The 1979 Society recognizes individuals who have included the Metal Museum in their estate plans.

  • Special updates on the Museum’s future

There is no minimum gift amount to join. Simply notify us that you’ve included the Museum in your plans.
