Youth & Family Classes

Youth and family classes are designed to connect people of all ages with metalworking tools and techniques through workshop programming. Lessons are typically two hours long, and students will walk away with a finished art piece showcasing a specific metalworking technique. Forging, casting, soldering, and coppersmithing techniques are all included within various lessons.

Class Cancellation Policy

To receive class credit or a refund, you must notify the Museum that you will not be attending the class no less than two weeks prior the class. A 5% cancellation fee will be charged for all refunds. A refund will not be given for cancellations made less than two weeks prior to the class. Class credit for cancellations made less than two weeks prior to the class may be issued at the discretion of the Museum in special circumstances such as inclement weather that prevents travel to the Museum.

If the class is cancelled by the Metal Museum, the student may either transfer to another class of equal value or receive a full refund.
