The Permanent Collection at the Metal Museum focuses on artists and artworks from the post-Craft Revival period, from the 1970s to present. To date, the Metal Museum has collected over 2,000 individual pieces of art from hundreds of different artists from around the world.

Curated by Collections & Exhibitions staff, Space Within explores the versatility of metal and variety of forms present in the Museum’s permanent collection. Long held pieces are exhibited alongside recent acquisitions to give a more holistic view of the Museum’s holdings.
