SATURDAYS
JANUARY – MAY 2026
HANDS-ON ART + SCIENCE INSPIRED BY METALWORK
S.T.E.A.M. Saturdays is a new weekend program at the Metal Museum for kids ages 6-12 and their caregivers. Each session mixes artmaking with simple science projects. This January through May 2026, the Museum will pilot this program, and you can help us test out the activities before the full S.T.E.A.M. Saturdays launch in September 2026, when the Metal Museum moves into Rust Hall in Overton Park.

This is a pilot, so we’ll end each workshop with a short follow-up survey. Feedback helps us refine lesson plans, supply kits, pacing, and accessibility supports before the full program launch.
Capacity: 20 participants per Saturday. Registered required.
Please note: Registration does not guarantee a spot in the workshop. You will receive a confirmation email indicating whether space is available. Families can register to attend multiple workshops.
